As a mum of three, especially after the birth of my third child - in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic - I experienced how easy it is to lose yourself in your role as a mother. I had forgotten who I am and what makes me who I am because the needs of the family always came first. The result: overload, exhaustion and ultimately depression.
But this low point became a turning point for me. I reorganised my life - professionally, in terms of equality in my partnership and by creating space for myself. I not only rediscovered old hobbies, but also created space for new things. Today I know how important it is to look after yourself.
